A letter from our President...

Hello everyone!

​

 Welcome to the Delta Omega chapter of Gamma Phi Beta at Oakland University!

​

 My name is Julia Foster, and I’m the president of this incredible chapter. I joined Gamma Phi in the Winter of 2023 as a Freshman. I am now a Junior, and my nearly two years in this chapter have helped me grow and bloom into the woman I’ve always dreamt I could be. My experience in Gamma Phi has taught me leadership, confidence, teamwork, and ambition. I cherish the bonds that have been built within this chapter, and I enjoy watching them strengthen over time.

Since joining in 2023, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in multiple positions for the chapter. I’ve served as the Risk Managment Chairwoman  and as the Public Relations Vice President. These positions have given me priceless experience in directing, presenting, and working with a team. I’ve learned so much through being in Gamma Phi, and I know these skills will serve me well long after college.

This year is going to be a great one for our chapter! We will be hosting our annual Moonball Tournament this Spring to support our philanthropic partner Girls on the Run. We’re looking forward to a variety of events, including formal, date party, Founders Day, and many other socials and sisterhoods!

I cannot express enough how much Gamma Phi Beta means to me. Our four core values, Love, Labor, Learning and Loyalty reside in every sister, and shine through everything they do. This chapter has not only helped me flourish, but it has also brought a new meaning to the term sisterhood. I’m honored to lead and learn from these girls, and I hope our chapter is able to bring you a sense of love, labor, learning and loyalty.
