Highest Type of Womanhood

Here at Gamma Phi Beta, our objective is "To provide the highest type of womanhood through education, social life, and service to country and humanity.'' This includes helping each other maintain a positive image as well as strong scholarship.

Scholarship

Our founders were brought together as pioneers for an organization that valued friendship and sharing, while pursuing academic achievement. Here at Delta Omega, the importance of academic excellence is still a priority today. In order to help each sister achieve her academic best, a Scholarship Program has been designed for reaching and maintaining high GPA's.

Weekly study hours, determined by grade point average, are mandatory for each sister. Study hours are held by other sisters at least six days a weeks to ensure that they will be completed. Our Scholarship Chairwoman plans fun study events in the library or at the chapter house to offer academic support and motivate women to study.

While maintaining high GPA's, studying, working and being involved with the chapter, the girls of Delta Omega are also involved in other organizations on campus. Where can you find a Gamma Phi Beta?

Standards

Each member of Gamma Phi Beta has taken an oath to uphold the highest standards of womanhood. As individuals, we all strive to live Gamma Phi Betas Core Values in our daily lives. By living our Core Values, we are demonstrating to each other, and the outside world what it means to be a Gamma Phi Beta.

Gamma Phi Beta standards hold their basis in the Sorority's ritual. These values provide a foundation to build high moral and ethical standards with a lifetime commitment to achieving personal and sorority goals.

Gamma Phi Beta expects each member to be the best she can be. In order to accomplish this goal, it is the responsibility of each member to live up to Gamma Phi Beta's standards, which are basic expectations of behavior.

By enforcing its standards, Gamma Phi Beta expresses care for its members, the chapter, and the International Sorority. It also fulfills the Sorority’s moral responsibility to assist members in further developing strong values and ethics.
